Students in Voces Novae continue to develop proper vocal technique, musicianship and choral singing skills. Sight reading skills are nurtured throughout the year to develop and advance the ability of the students to read music and vocal independence. Members perform various types and genres of challenging music throughout the year that will continue to develop their tone quality and musicianship skills. Students range in age from 9-12 grade and are highly encouraged to participate in voice lessons, solo & ensemble and the TMEA region audition process. This Choir meets 4th period in both the fall and spring semesters.
