This April over 100 Marcus Choir students traveled to Disney World in Orlando, Florida to compete in the annual Festival Disney Music Competition. Over 40 choirs from across the United States travel to compete in this competition and this year Marcus is proud to brig home all the top awards.
Marcus Chorale received the Golden Mickey for the highest scored Concert Choir for the entire contest. They also received the Best in Class for Mixed Choirs.
Celesti received the Silver Mickey for the second highest Concert Choir score. They also received the Best in Class for Treble Choirs.
The Varsity Men’s Choir received the Bronze Mickey for the third highest Concert Choir score.
Voces Novae/Bel Canto received a Superior rating and the 5th highest Concert Choir score.
Fusion/VoiceMale received the Golden Mickey for the highest Specialty Choir score. They also received the Best in Class for Jazz Choirs.
